Tim was down in Leverburgh at the weekend and took the opportunity to cycle 'round the mountain' a 13 mile ride out from Leverburgh to Finsbay and then back via Rodel. He used one of the bikes which are at Am Bothan with Ruiri. 'What a great ride, it would have been even better if it wasn't for the northerly gale blowing against me on the way out'

Can there be a better way to see the stunning Outer Hebrides than from a bike?

From an afternoon exploring the Castle Grounds in Stornoway to a one way ride up through Harris into Lewis finishing in Stornoway (with a trailer for your bags). Being on a bike is a great way of enjoying the islands.

All our bikes come complete with a small tool-kit, a lock and helmet (Helmets are not a legal requirement in Scotland but we recommend you use one.)  

You can pick up your bikes in Stornoway but for a little extra, we can deliver them to your accommodation.

We do have a small number of bike racks for hire which fit most cars should you want to explore further afield. 

We also offer a one way hire of a bike and trailer from Leverburgh to Stornoway or visa versa.
